elle brenecki (AUS)

Hailing from Australia and now Berlin-based, Elle has been exploring dance from an early
age, dabbling in various styles. However discovering Lindy Hop and Authentic Jazz was
when she felt most inspired, especially drawn to the conversational nature of jazz and the
freedom it offers.

Honoured to be a guest in this culture, Elle is constantly deepening her
understanding of the African American roots of jazz dances while also exploring other social
dance styles.

The process of finding the connections and parallels between these forms is inspiring, not only in movement but also in their cultural and political significance.

At Winter Swingtime 2025, Elle will be teaching Lindy Hop.
